Favorite part of FilmEd? “I loved it all. It all started with epic summer workshops that got me inspired, then really enjoyed filming all of the sporting events like pep rallies and Friday night football, even the crunched deadlines for the DVD yearbook at the end of every year. I think one of the biggest things it Filmed taught me besides a really strong technical foundation for both camera and editing was the push for solid story telling.”

Any advice for current FilmEd students? “Learn a bunch while you are still in High School, and you will be leagues ahead of everyone if you decide to go into any film school. Use this time to try out different areas of film making such as camera, editing, direction, production design, etc. Use this time to get well versed and figure out your strengths.”

Make sure to all follow Torrey so you can keep up with his amazing work!
